Artist: Charles Beck

Charles Beck was so pleased with his first Willow woodcut that he created one for each season, using the same woodblock but different colors, textures and backgrounds.

The college has chosen to display them together in the order of Winter, Autumn, Spring and Summer. This set of prints also hangs in the corporate headquarters of American Crystal Sugar Company in Moorhead.

These framed Beck woodcuts are among more than 160 Beck works in the M State Fergus Falls art collection.
